Third Age Tx research published in The Lancet
Jan 2024: The research that underpins much of what we do at Third Age Tx has been published in some of the leading peer reviewed journals in our field. The main results of our £3M programme of research entered the public domain in 2024. All our publications are open access.

Third Age Tx joins the Northern Accelerator Programme
December 2023: Northern Accelerator is an innovative collaboration between Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland, Teesside and York Universities. It has transformed research commercialisation in the North, helping address regional imbalance and strengthening the region’s knowledge economy. Third Age Tx has been supported in our SpinOut journey and their work is highlighed in this News Feature from 2025

Third Age Tx completes the Propel@YH accelerator programme
December 2024: Propel@YH is one of the UK's leading digital accelerator programmes. Supported by Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber, the programme provides innovative organisations developing digital health solutions with access to a six-month structured course of support and advice. The programme accelerates company growth and increases market presence. Third Age Tx was selected to join the 2024-5 cohort. This has led to deep partnerships and collaborations to enable them to grow.

June 2025. Innovate UK Business Growth is a key part of the UK innovation agency’s deep investment in the pioneering businesses that drive economic growth. Third Age Tx has been selected as a high potential innovation-driven company and will receive support in scale and support for market growth in 2025-26
Third Age Tx CEO presents at the 2025 Global Consortium for Depression Prevention in Groningen
June 2025: The team behind Third Age Tx are at the forefront of a global initiative to prevent problems such as depression. Third Age Tx CEO Prof Gilbody is the UK collaborating partner in the Global Consortium for Depression Prevention. In June 2025 Prof Gilbody joined the 6th biennial consortium gathering in Groningen in the Netherlands and present the work of Third Age Tx.
